ペンギンのための習作 "Study for the Penguin"
2022年に1年をかけて栃木県益子町で制作した初の陶芸作品「ペンギンのための習作」。 ぽってりとしたシルエットから始まり、足やフリッパーを取り除いたミニマルな子、細く飄々とした子、ひとつひとつ違うアプローチを試しながら、自分が考えるペンギンらしさ「ペンギンの概念」を模索した作品になります。 造形の歪み、釉薬の剥がれやムラなど、仕上がりにおいて拙い部分もありますが、不完全な形や仕上がりにも愛らしさや個性を感じ、この度販売をさせていただきました。 理想の形を模索する中で生まれた、ひとつとして同じものがない個性的なペンギンたちを、可愛がっていただけたら幸いです。
